It’s June and wishing all you lovely June babies a dazzling Happy Birthday!

Pearl is your birthstone and it’s the only gemstone formed in a living organism! How unique! Having been viewed for many years as a more “matronly” gemstone, pearls are enjoying a resurgence in popularity among women and men – young and a little older, alike.

Even though I absolutely love wearing gold and diamonds, I began June with my very own challenge of wearing a strand of pearls everyday with every outfit, including my yoga pants and a t-shirt! The response has been enlightening. Women of all ages have surprisingly commented with enthusiasm that they love my pearls with my apparel. They continue with inquiries about owning a strand of pearls similar to those I am wearing and accessorizing with them more often. Men have even expressed purchasing pearl jewelry for the special ladies in their life. Women feel like royalty (I do!) wearing pearls and men often wax poetic by likening their lady’s smile to a lustrous strand of pearls.

These days, pearls are no longer just worn for a fancy evening out. Sure, a gorgeous dress is most certainly styled well with an iridescent strand of Brillante pearls. But pearls can also rock your favorite jeans and blouse, and apparently yoga pants and a T-shirt as my “Wear Pearls Everyday in June” challenge has revealed!
